Living adjacent to the Stanford Campus in the Bay area, in close proximity to San Francisco, "Wine Country", SF Bay, San Jose, Monterey/Carmel, the Pacific Ocean and coastal towns, the Sierra -Tahoe &Yosemite is a year round photographer's "paradise"!
Enjoy a few favorite pictures from adventures to places visited and digitally immortalized during joyous exploration. Better idea, come visit!!
Treasures created by iPhoneX...learning portrait mode.. on Apple photo walks or sleuth strolls in Palo Alto or Stanford Mall...Great Fun!
Filoli Gardens in Woodside is a National Historic site and local treasure. The impeccable gardens and early 20th century home excite the child and romantic in everyone who visits. The resident peacock, Percy, often surprises with his own memorable display! Enjoy!!
Bigger is not always better, especially when bigger means heavier, cumbersome and causing repeated injuries. So, alas, after a painful shoulder episode, I ditched my beloved, but very heavy Nikon equipment for a mirrorless setup. After several tries I landed a Panasonic Lumix...great photos, but a techno-struggle compared to Apple's fantastic iphoneX! I Love Apple's easily interchangeable formats and new portrait options, especially dramatic Stage Light. I Love the ability to grab a photo or video anywhere/everywhere, even while jiving or jogging to my favorite tunes! Best Bonus, Instant sharing!!! Even though I thought my Nikon was my BFFL, I happily embrace the new smaller, lighter amazing megapixel computer driven cameras that contribute so much Joy to my "sharing" life. I hope you will enjoy these mostly floral fun pics!!!
